"Delta Four" Short Film Series
《三角四方》短片試映系

The Core Curriculum and General Education Office (OCC) launched a unique short film series titled "Delta Four" on 12 and 19 March 2015 at Lingnan. Heartfelt acknowledgements went to the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and the Hong Kong Art Development Council for supporting the collaboration which brought forth four specially produced film pieces curated for the 14th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition (Hong Kong) to Lingnan's campus.

The "Delta Four" series comprised four short films, namely "Rest Is Pending", "SAR2", "Connection" and "Over the Wall", which featured on the various important social, developmental and architectural issues pertinent to the Pearl River Delta Region that we live in. Prof. Stephen Chan, Director of Core Curriculum and General Education addressed at the opening that the OCC would continue to collaborate with various external parties in order to bring well-selected film pieces and organize relevant activities for Lingnan students as well as the local community at large. 

Young film directors Mr. Ng Ho Yin and Mr. Wong Siu Pong as well as guest speakers Mr. Alvin Yip and Ms. Anna Kwong from the architecture profession were invited to share their insights and experiences with both Lingnan and local secondary students at the post-screening discussions.

核心課程及通識教育辦事處(OCC)於本年3月12及19日在嶺大舉辦《三角四方》短片系列，是次活動得以成功舉辦，須特別鳴謝香港建築師學會及香港藝術發展局的支持，將第14屆威尼斯國際建築雙年展香港展覽中的四套本地製作短片，帶到嶺南校園。

《三角四方》系列包含四套短片，分別為《安居》、《特特區》、《延長線》及《新填地翻牆》，這四套影片分別觸及珠三角地區發展的重要議題，包括社會、城市規劃及建築等方面。嶺南大學核心課程及通識教育主任陳清僑教授在開幕致辭時更透露核心課程及通識教育辦事處將繼續發掘更多機會，與不同團體合作，以為嶺大學生及本地社區帶來精挑細選的影片及相關活動。

是次活動邀得年輕導演吳浩賢先生和黃肇邦先生，以及建築專業背景的葉長安先生及鄺心怡女士作為嘉賓，與一眾嶺大同學及中學生分享經驗及交流心得。
