Professor Stimson will present an overview of research into Quality of Life (QOL), how the investigation of QOL has been approached by researchers, and how it has been measured and evaluated. The lecture will draw on empirical investigations into the Quality of Urban Life (QOUL) he has conducted in Australia and elsewhere with colleagues, including a recent investigation into the QOUL in Hong Kong.
