Summer Fire 夏日柴火創作

你有留意過被書寫在文學作品裡的屯門嗎？原來香港著名作家也斯和西西的筆下都曾有屯門的蹤影，甚至有台灣作家以居於虎地的流浪貓為觀察對象，將他們的生活記錄結集成書~

七月的暑期本地遊將帶大家從嶺南大學校園出發，一起在社區走讀，從日常身邊發現創作素材。邊走邊讀在地文學，拾起木頭學習本地樹木生態知識，親身體驗破柴燒柴火。動動手，煮一杯茶，造一本小誌，在舊年代的村校之中，讓腦海放空，過一個悠閒午後。

The activity aims to cultivate participants’ creativity and enhance their literary accomplishment. They will learn to appreciate the beauty of language, and explore the complexities and diversity of human experience. Led by I-Common HK, participants will visit the School of Everyday Life at Tuen Mun. They will write literature and create their own zines. They will also learn to cook light food with wood fire.

School of Everyday Life was founded in 2014, by a group of members who are passionate about education, environment, culture and arts. They believe that social education is the key to our future world, so they hope to make a change in local life, culture and environmental education. The school aims to create good values for everyday life through creative and experiential learning, and to build a better society.
