Connection with the industry: Visit to Foshan Wheelchair

On 9 May 2025, Prof Albert KO, Director of Office of Service-Learning, Mr Adrian LO, Product Design Lead, Mr Bob YU, Senior Engineer, Ms Sharon TAM, Director of Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer, and Mr Robin CHEN, Manager of Technology Transfer and Development, visited Foshan Dongfang Medical Equipment Factory Co., Ltd. (Foshan Wheelchair) to have in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as intelligent wheelchair control technology, AI assisted expansion of medical equipment functions, product optimization and enhancement, as well as various modes of technology transfer and transformation of the technologies from Lingnan University. The delegation also visited the product exhibition hall of Foshan Wheelchair and gained a detailed understanding of the latest scientific research achievements and industrialization progress of Foshan Wheelchair.
