LU Teams made history at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva
At the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva (2026) took place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 11 to 15 Mar 2026. Lingnan University has achieved a major breakthrough by securing a total of 14 awards, more than doubling its previous record. Demonstrating global excellence in "AI+X" interdisciplinary research, all 13 entered inventions received accolades.
A standout success was the "FlexiBot" project, a revolutionary autonomous system designed to transform any standard parking space into an EV charging station. The project’s human-centric design earned the prestigious Gold Medal with the Congratulations of the Jury, a testament to its technical brilliance. Furthermore, it was honored with the Thailand Award for the Best International Invention and Innovation, underscoring the University's leadership in solving real-world urban challenge through smart technology.
