The Insurance Symposium organized by Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM) will gather a group of respected scholars and practitioners in Hong Kong and Mainland China to share their latest perspectives and insights concerning the development of general insurance under the impact of uncertainties such as Brexit, Sino US trade tension and COVID-19. It serves as a platform for discussing the new measures of operations and the changes of strategic planning in the recent economic environment. In particular, the symposium aims to raise the importance of this industry among the general public and enterprises in Hong Kong, and to promote Hong Kong as an insurance hub in Asia.
