Overview

What Will I Study?

Unlike traditional IT- and engineering-oriented programmes, the MAAIF combines technical and philosophical topics, providing a humanities-based perspective on AI. Our students gain a fundamental understanding of AI and delve into the ethical and social issues arising from AI technologies through a rigorous interdisciplinary programme combining philosophy, computer science, logic, psychology, and the arts. Students acquire an applicable set of analytical tools and learn to think clearly and critically about AI systems. In our wide-ranging curriculum, students consider the ramifications of AI in a variety of domains, including science, law, economics, public policy, healthcare, and business and finance.

Who is it for?

The broad, interdisciplinary foundation provided by the MAAIF is suitable for anyone, whether you’re a new graduate looking for a future-proof career to an accomplished professional looking to maintain your competitive edge. No specific background in AI is necessary – we provide you with the training necessary to understand cutting-edge AI systems, reason critically about them, and make expert decisions in the AI-driven future.
