Prof. Nan LI Nancy is an Assistant Professor of Teaching at the School of Data Science, Lingnan University. She received her Ph.D. in Information Systems from the City University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on AI agents, natural language processing (NLP), information embedding, and the development of AI for adaptive learning.

Recently, Dr LI developed PoliSage, an intelligent policy question-answering system. Unlike traditional AI tools that may generate unverifiable or inaccurate information, PoliSage ensures that each response is retrieved in real time from authoritative policy documents, with precise source citations provided for every answer. Supporting both English and Chinese, PoliSage is highly versatile and applicable across various domains, including academic regulations, administrative procedures, and housing policies.

She is also actively engaged in collaborative AI development with local companies and government contractors.
