Design Innovation for Humanitarian Action

Brief Course Description

Your opportunity to create real-world solutions for social good.
In this capstone experience, students will undertake a supervised individual project that demonstrates their ability to apply knowledge and skills to address pressing humanitarian and social challenges. Project options include:

1. Action Research – Collaborate with an NGO community partner to generate practical insights.
2. Grant Proposal – Design a compelling proposal for a social innovation initiative.
3. Inclusive Business Plan – Develop a detailed plan for a venture that promotes equity and inclusion.
4. Humanitarian Technology Prototype – Build and refine a solution targeting challenges faced by underserved populations.
