Admission Requirements

To be eligible for entry into this programme:

1. applicants should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised tertiary institution; and
2. applicants whose degree is from a non-English-medium tertiary institution should have a band score of 6.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or a minimum score of 550 (paper based test) or 79 (Internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or an equivalent score in a recognised test.

*Equivalent qualifications and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
**Interviews may be conducted if deemed necessary.

Scholarships & Fundings

A variety of scholarships and bursaries may be available in any given year. Applicants who receive admission offers will be automatically considered eligible to compete for the scholarships.

The School of Graduate Studies (GS) is proud to announce the Dean’s Scholarship to international students with outstanding academic credentials to pursue a Taught Postgraduate degree at Lingnan University, Hong Kong.

Successful applicants will receive a scholarship of up to the value of HK$200,000, which includes partial or full tuition waivers, and a merit-based stipend. Furthermore, scholarship recipients will be given priority by individual programmes to stay at our on-campus hostels.
