AIGCS Actively Collaborates with Hong Kong Mainstream Media in Hong Kong to Promote Traditional Chinese Culture

While engaging in advanced research in collaboration with top-tier universities worldwide, AIGCS of Lingnan University actively pursues knowledge transfer projects to introduce Chinese literature and culture to Hong Kong citizens. This has attracted increasing attention from local mainstream media. Prof Zong-qi Cai, the Institute director, was interviewed by TVB about cultural significance of the "Loong". Segments of the interview were aired on the first day of the Lunar New Year in TVB's rolling news program. (Click here to play the video)

Also drawing attention is the knowledge transfer project "How to Read Chinese Poetry." The book drifting event held by Radio Television Hong Kong on Jan 26
th promoted the book series How to Read Chinese Poetry to secondary school students. In April 2023, Prof Cai was invited to introduce Chinese poetry through radio broadcasting on RTHK's program 大地書香 (Book Fragrance of the Earth).

In June of the same year, the famous local media "Master's Insight"(灼見名家) conducted an interview with Prof Cai, where he shared his experiences of promoting Chinese literature and culture in both English and Chinese-speaking worlds over the decades. An episode of How to Read Chinese Poetry Videos, the institute features an interview of Mr. Sebastian MAN, Honorary President of Man Clansmen Association, on the famous national patriotic hero, Man Tin Cheung 文天祥, of whom the Hong Kong's Man clans are descended.
