Dinner for Graduating Students 2026

The Dinner for Graduating Students 2026 was successfully held on 19 May, bringing together over 400 attendees comprising Council and Court Members, University senior management, faculty and staff, alumni representatives and graduating students, to celebrate achievements and milestones in a warm and festive atmosphere.

During the Dinner, The Hon Andrew Yao Cho-fai, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Council, Prof S. Joe Qin, President and Wai Kee Kau Chair Professor of Data Science, along with other key members of the University, delivered heartfelt messages and proposed a toast to the graduating students. Adding to the celebratory mood, graduating students shared reflections on their academic journeys, while the Chairpersons of three major Lingnan alumni associations shared insights into the vibrant alumni network. The evening was further enriched by exciting lucky draws and a captivating dance performance by students and alumni, making the occasion memorable for all.
