Lingnan Roundtable for Learning & Networking - Delve into Public Service: Opportunities and Experiences in the Civil Service

The Lingnan Roundtable organized by Alumni Relations Team was successfully completed on June 21, 2025. The event featured two alumni as guest speakers: Ken, a graduate of the Business Administration programme, former civil servant, and now a career coach; and Mark, a Translation programme graduate who is currently serving as a civil servant. They shared their journeys of joining the civil service, insights into the structure and benefits of the profession, and practical tips to enhance competitiveness. The event attracted nearly 20 alumni and students, creating a lively atmosphere where participants eagerly asked questions and exchanged ideas, aiming to gain a deeper understanding of the civil service system and its working environment.
