On 3 March 2026, Prof S. Joe Qin, President and Wai Kee Kau Chair Professor of Data Science, Mrs Kathy Qin and Ms Jessie Law, Director of Institutional Advancement and Alumni Affairs, attended the Lantern Festival Dinner co-organised by the Lingnan Club and Lingnan University Alumni Association (Hong Kong) (LUAA). This traditional festive event, which brought together about 100 Lingnan alumni and guests, reflected the strong bonds within the Lingnan family as attendees cherished the opportunity to reconnect and joyfully celebrated this meaningful tradition together.
