Prior to working for CEAL at Lingnan University, Humphrey had extensive teaching experience in secondary schools, universities and post-secondary education institutions in Hong Kong. Humphrey has been teaching English to students with different levels of English proficiency ranging from secondary school students, Diploma students, Sub-degree level students to Postgraduate students for general English, English linguistics and academic English. Humphrey was the Program Head of General Education and Programme Leader of Higher Diploma in English and Communications at Lingnan Institute of Further Education. At CEAL, Humphrey teaches University English II and Professional Communication in English for Social Sciences.

He enjoys being with his family and playing with his dog during his free time.
