The kick-off ceremony of "Linking You to Innovation - Entrepreneurial Training and Internship Programme 2023-Shenzhen" was successfully held on June 6, 2023. The programme was co-organised by The China Economic Research Programme (CERP) of Lingnan University, the Global Affairs Office of The Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Higher Education Convergence, and the Hong Kong Youth Association. Sixteen local university students from Hong Kong will participate in a five-week internship program in Shenzhen from June 16 to July 22 this summer.

Professor HO Lok-sang, Director of CERP of Lingnan University, said in his speech, "This is the third time that we have organized this program, and in the past, we have successfully organized the internship program at Xiamen and Fuzhou in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Fortunately, with the support of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, Youth Development Commission, the Global Affairs Office of The Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Higher Education Convergence, Hong Kong Youth Association, and Greater Bay Area Dream Hub For Youth, the programme was successfully resumed this year. I would like to encourage the students that it is challenging to keep up with the fast-changing environment under the globalization trend, and knowledge and experience might quickly become outdated. In order to keep up with the times, we need to have a positive attitude and the ability to learn new things constantly. "

The programme provides internship opportunities for students in China's rapidly-developing industries, including cultural and creative, high-tech, and entrepreneurship. Participating companies include AAC Technologies, CAPOL International & Associates Group, Shenzhen Microwave New Media Culture Communication Co., Ltd., Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation And Entrepreneurship Centre, CBH （Shenzhen）Incubation Accelerator Limited Company, and Shenzhen Women's Chamber of Commerce, and so forth.
