Prof. Helen FROWE will present a brief public lecture on her work on the ethics of war and peace. This short talk will be followed by a fireside chat with Prof. Adrian YEE, moderated by Prof. Adam GIBBONS of the Department of Philosophy / Hong Kong Catastrophic Risk Centre (Lingnan University).

Speaker: Prof. Helen FROWE (joining online via Zoom)

Professor of Practical Philosophy and Knut and Alice Wallenberg Scholar at Stockholm University, where Frowe directs the Stockholm Centre for the Ethics of War and Peace. Frowe works on moral and political philosophy.

Discussant: Prof. Adrian YEE (joining in-person)

Research Assistant Professor at the HKCRC, Lingnan University. Yee studies contemporary issues in AI, economics, and politics. Recently, he has written on automated misinformation detection, the ethics of autonomous weapons, counter-terrorism analysis, and social media algorithms.

Moderator: Prof. Adam GIBBONS (joining in-person)

Assistant Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Lingnan University. Gibbons works primarily in social and political philosophy.
