Dr. David HARRISON
- Postdoctoral Fellow (Hong Kong Catastrophic Risk Centre)
David Harrison is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at Lingnan University, as well as Research Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong Catastrophic Risk Centre. His specialisation is in foundational and conceptual issues in the cognitive and biological sciences, with a specific interest in the possibility of agency and sentience in artificial intelligence and robotics. Before arriving at Lingnan, David completed his Ph.D. in the History and Philosophy of Science Department at the University of Cambridge, and also studied at the University of Edinburgh and King’s College London.
