Dr Ruan’s research interests are artificial intelligence, multi-objective optimization, optimization in dynamic and uncertain environments, transfer optimization and learning. He has published more than 20 papers in top journals and conferences in the areas of artificial intelligence and evolutionary computation. He is also a regular reviewer of renowned journals, like IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence, etc.
