Dr. Shi Gu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance at Lingnan University. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2025. His research interests lie in corporate finance as well as innovation and labor economics, with a focus on their interactions with finance. He is also working on using quantitative methods, combined with big data, to study decision-making on the adoption of new products and technologies across different economic agents, aiming to understand the mechanisms that shape the diffusion of innovations and assess their broader economic impact.
