Participating in the ITC STEM Internship Scheme 2025–26 has been an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience that greatly enriched my practical skills and broadened my horizons. Throughout the internship, I took on a range of diverse design tasks as the core part of my duties. My main responsibility was creating various posters for different program activities. I needed to balance visual aesthetics which allowed me to polish my graphic design techniques and improve my ability to understand project requirements and turn ideas into concrete visual works.

Besides independent design work, I also joined two meaningful on-site activities. I collaborated with the team to set up and operate a booth at the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises Hong Kong. During the event, I introduced our STEM program to visitors, explained our services and communicated with people from different backgrounds. This experience boosted my confidence in public speaking and interpersonal communication. In addition, I delivered AI skills workshops at Yan Oi Tong. I taught community members how to utilize common AI tools for daily and work purposes, simplifying complicated technical knowledge into easy-to-follow steps. Explaining technology to ordinary users helped me deepen my own understanding of AI applications and enhanced my teaching and problem-solving skills.

This well-rounded internship arrangement exceeded my expectations. Instead of doing repetitive routine work, I got chances to practice design, communicate with the public, and share technological knowledge. All these tasks have effectively strengthened my professional capabilities, adaptability, and teamwork spirit. I am truly thankful for this valuable opportunity, and everything I have learned will become an important experience for my future career development in design and creative industries.
