LUX is an innovation and entrepreneurship platform by Lingnan University. Aiming to be a leading technology entrepreneurship hub in the Greater Bay Area, LUX drives breakthroughs in agentic artificial intelligence, AI+X, digital humanity, sustainability, and next-generation intelligent systems.

Our strategic vision is to build a one-stop professional innovation and entrepreneurship platform for core technologies, accelerate the commercialisation of scientific research achievements, and increase the university's overall research and knowledge transfer impact on society.

By bridging academic insights and real-world commercial success for students, alumni, research staff, and external innovators, LUX aims to equip Lingnanians with the entrepreneurial mindset and skills to transform fundamental research into innovative businesses. LUX enables and accelerates the growth of start-ups while cultivating a group of high-quality entrepreneurial talents with international vision and core technological capabilities. Furthermore, it fosters a seamless "academia-industry-investment" ecosystem by integrating core activities across the Hong Kong-Shenzhen border and exploiting the university's proximity to Shenzhen's high-tech industries.
