本課程致力培育學生成為社會政策研究員。畢業生將有機會加入政府部門（擔任公務員）、智庫、本地或國際非政府組織（NGO）、政黨及大學研究中心等機構發展所長。
憑藉在 IMCSP 課程中所掌握的專業知識，您亦能勝任記者、電影製作人或教師等跨領域工作。此外，投身社會工作，或選擇繼續升學以攻讀哲學碩士（MPhil）或博士（PhD）學位，同樣是極佳的發展方向。

"Currently, I work in the insurance industry, and what I learned in the IMCSP programme is very helpful for my work indeed.
