Four MScCT+ Students Delivered Oral Presentations at IET RPG 2025, with a Student Awarded Best Paper Prize
Our MScCT+ Student DING Wenjie (Fall 2024-25 intake) was awarded the Best Paper Award (First Prize) at the14th International Conference on Renewable Power Generation (IET RPG 2025) (The first person from the right)
The 14th IET International Conference on Renewable Power Generation (RPG 2025) successfully concluded in Shanghai, China on October 26, 2025. Co-hosted by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the conference attracted over 300 experts and scholars, including more than 30 overseas experts and representatives from over ten countries and regions such as the UK, Canada, Russia, Malaysia, Singapore, Belgium, Denmark, Portugal, and Togo.
The conference provides an international platform for experts, scholars, and enterprises in the field of renewable energy to gather annually for academic and technical sharing and discussion, fostering the development of the industry. Four MScCT+ students from Wu Jieh Yee School of Interdisciplinary Studies (WJYSIS) of Lingnan University delivered oral presentations at the conference. Notably, our MScCT+ student, DING Wenjie (Fall 2024–25 intake), was awarded the Best Paper Award (First Prize), an outstanding achievement that highlights the strength of our programme in student education.
