Prof. LIU Zitao 刘子韬教授

Dr Liu Zitao currently serves as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Guangdong Institute of Smart Education, Jinan University, concurrently holding the position of Director of the Institute. His primary research focus lies in the application of artificial intelligence technologies within educational contexts. He has published over 100 papers in premier artificial intelligence conferences and journals, including NeurIPS, and holds more than 40 authorised invention patents both domestically and internationally. Dr Liu has led and participated in multiple research initiatives, including projects under the National Key R&D Programme and the "Next Generation Artificial Intelligence" major project of the Science and Technology Innovation 2030 initiative. Concurrently, he serves as an Executive Committee Member of the International Association for Artificial Intelligence in Education and Programme Chair of the 25th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED 2024). His research achievements have been featured in numerous media outlets, including CCTV News, CCTV Business News, People's Daily Online, and Xinhua News Agency.
