Prof. Cai Yi 蔡毅教授

Speaker Background

Dean of School of Software, South China University of Technology, Director of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Joint Laboratory of Big Data and Robot Intelligence. He received his PhD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and was a postdoctoral fellow at the City University of Hong Kong.
In addition, he is a distinguished member of China Computer Society; Deputy Director of Big Data Committee and Deputy Director of Digital Economy Committee of Guangdong Province; Guangdong Province "thousand hundred and ten project" training object, Guangdong Province special support plan young top talent, Guangdong Province outstanding young innovative talent candidate.
Participated in a number of key projects at home and abroad and published more than 150 high-quality papers in IEEE TKDE, TMM, TAFFAC, IEEE/ACM TASLP, AAAI, ACL, ACM MM and other top journals and conferences. Presided over 3 national projects, 10 provincial and ministerial projects, and 1 major project entrusted by enterprises and institutions; Participated in 3 national projects, 3 provincial and ministerial projects, and 4 overseas research projects.
