Lingnan University Business and Management Studies continue to rise in QS World University Ranking by Subject 2026

In the 2026 QS World University Rankings by Subject, Lingnan University has rose to 29th within the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau regions in Business and Management Studies, among the 37 institutions included. The achievement reflects the Faculty’s sustained progress in academic research, business education and its growing global standing. 

“We are encouraged to see our ongoing progress recognised in the QS rankings,” said Prof. Leng Mingming, Dean of the Faculty of Business. “This achievement belongs to our dedicated faculty, students, alumni and long-standing partners who have supported the Faculty over the years. We will continue to nurture forward-looking business leaders in Hong Kong and aboard to meet the evolving needs of society.”

The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 cover five broad subject areas, and Business and Management Studies is one of the 55 individual subjects under Social Sciences & Management. The assessment is based on five key performance indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per paper, the H-index measuring research productivity and impact, and the international research network.
