LU Barn (Makerspace) Service Updates

Beyond our regular 3D printing, and laser-cutting/engraving workshops, the Library collaborates with different units to offer tailor-made workshops for different programmes and courses, and we often share creative use cases, encourage innovation and exploration with the Lingnan community.

Our Library worked with the Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries (DACI) in Term 1 to deliver a workshop for students of VIS512H Curating Digital Heritage on professional knowledge and hands-on skills in 3D printing and laser cutting.

Before the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Library organised a “DIY Moon Lamp Workshop @ Library” to invite staff and students to create their own moon lamps with our 3D printing services.
