- To be responsible for the delivery of the programme(s) and courses the Division offers, including course planning, teaching, assessment and evaluation, admissions policy, and achievement of the intended student learning outcomes;
- To be responsible for the quality of teaching and research work of the Division;
- To formulate divisional policies within University guidelines;
- To consider staff matters of the division;
- To set up committees as it thinks necessary to discharge its duties;
- To exercise such additional responsibilities and powers as may be assigned to it by the President from time to time.
- Chairman:
- Associate Dean in charge of the Division of Industrial Data Science
- Members:
- All fulltime members of the teaching staff of the Division at the rank of Lecturer or higher
- Co-opted members (on a needed-basis):
- One elected undergraduate student representative and one elected postgraduate student representative from programmes (if any) under the Division, nominated by the Chairman to attend the meetings for agenda items relating to undergraduate or postgraduate studies matters
- Secretary:
- An administrative staff member nominated by the Chairman
