大学教育资助委员会（教资会）高度赞扬岭南大学在拓展知识转移活动方面的出色表现。岭南大学在知识转移方面的努力使其正在进行中的社会项目和合约研究的累计收入分别增长了209%和54%，其有顾问参与的专业项目的累计收入也较之前增长了83%。根据岭南大学知识转移活动的年度审核报告，岭南大学将研究事务处更名为研究及知识转移处（ORKT），教资会对岭南大学在机构层面对知识转移的重视和其地位的提升亦表示高度赞扬。

岭南大学发起的「共同抗疫」活动亦得到了教资会的高度赞扬，称其有效的满足了当今社会在挑战中不断转变的需求。「共同抗疫」活动下的各个项目与社会和当地社区进行了深度并广泛的交流，从而促进了发现（研究），服务和教育（公共卫生教育）。有关COVID-19大流行的研究成果已通过众多国际网络研讨会、多个国际期刊及多家国际媒体进行了发表。以下是部分研究成果展示：
