Admission
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants should have a bachelor's degree from a recognised tertiary institution*; and
- Applicants whose degree is from a non-English-medium tertiary institution should have a band score of 6.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or a minimum score of 550 (paper based test) or 79 (Internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or an equivalent score in a recognised test*.
* Equivalent qualifications and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis;
Interviews may be conducted if deemed necessary by the Admissions Co-ordinator and the Program Director.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
- To apply for the HAM programme, please follow the steps below:
- Create an account in the Online Application System
- Complete the online application form
- Upload scanned copies of admission documents to the system:
- Settle the application fee (HK$400) by a credit card. The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Applicants who wish to be considered for scholarship should send two recommendation letters in sealed envelopes, sent directly by referees and addressed to the Admissions Office (HAM, School of Graduate Studies). The recommendation letters are not required for admission-only applicants).

SCHOLARSHIP
A variety of scholarships may be available in any given year. Applicants who receive admission offers will be automatically considered eligible to compete for the scholarships.
Lingnan University is a dynamic liberal arts university characterised by quality teaching, research, and experiential learning through active community engagement. The School of Graduate Studies (GS) is proud to announce the Dean’s Scholarship to international students with outstanding academic credentials to pursue a Taught Postgraduate degree at Lingnan University, Hong Kong.
Successful applicants will receive a scholarship of up to the value of HK$200,000, which includes partial or full tuition waivers, and a merit-based stipend. Furthermore, scholarship recipients will be given priority by individual programmes to stay at our on-campus hostels.
Eligible local students will be invited by the HAM Programme Office to submit applications for the Targeted Taught Postgraduate Programmes Fellowships Scheme. Each awardee will receive a scholarship to a maximum cap of HK$120,000.
