Health Cluster Programmes’ Alumni Sharing and Employment Advisory Seminar

To give some general employment advice and maintain connection between current students and alumni, an Alumni Sharing and Employment Advisory Seminar was organized on 13 February 2026. A total of 30 students from the Master of Health and Social Service Management (MHSM), Master of Health Analytics and Management (HAM), and Master of Science in Smart Ageing and Gerontology (SAG) programmes participated in the event. Meanwhile, 8 alumni shared their job-hunting opportunities, challenges, and personal experiences via hybrid method.

During the event, current students and alumni shared the employment situation between Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and overseas. The current students were introduced to some job search channels and received job-seeking advice based on different regions and positions. Meanwhile, each alumnus also offered recruitment information from the NGO they currently work for and patiently answered each student's questions.

All the sharing sessions in this event combined the programme structures with the alumni's own experiences. Positive feedback was received from the students, who praisedthat the event far exceeded their expectations, allowing them to connect with alumni, and helped them identify many areas for improvement and work hardto make their future career plans became clearer.

At the end of the event, Programme Directors concluded by wishing every student a successful graduation and a bright future, while also celebrating Lunar New Year's Eve together.
