Distinct from corporate-focused business ESG tracks or natural science programmes, MCG-ES emphasizes the vital Social (S) and Governance (G) dimensions of ESG, embedding ecological priorities directly into public policy, spatial planning, and urban management.
Grounded in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), the MCG-ES concentration equips students with skills of specialised environmental analytics and AI-assisted planning tools to manage complex urban ecosystems. Through targeted sustainability field studies and local industry engagements, graduates are prepared to translate environmental data into actionable regulatory frameworks, corporate ESG strategies, and resilient community initiatives.
