My journey at Lingnan University has been filled with learning, growth, and meaningful experiences that have shaped both my academic and personal development. As a student from a different background, studying alongside classmates from various cultures allowed me to broaden my perspective and better understand the complexities of cities, governance, and sustainable development.

The Master of Cities and Governance (MCG) programme at Lingnan University (Lingnan)’s School of Graduate Studies (GS) is dedicated to nurturing professionals with both global and regional perspectives, equipping them to identify and respond to the complex challenges posed by rapid urban development. For Moses Kofi Ekpe, studying in the MCG programme was a transformative experience that broadened his understanding of contemporary cities through historical, cultural, social, and political lenses, while also deepening his engagement with global issues.
