1. For overseas & local applicants

Please read the Application Guide before completing the application form.

Overseas and local non-LU students may apply for admission to Summer Institute via the online application system and the deadlines are as follows:

It is strongly recommended that applicants submit their applications as early as possible. The processing time for HK student visas may take 6 - 8 weeks for students from Mainland China and up to 12 weeks for students from other places.

Application fee: HK$ 200 (non-refundable under any circumstances)

• Successful applicants will be informed individually via email.  They will be required to make payment of tuition fee, student visa/entry permit, hostel fee, and other fees if applicable and necessary for accepting the admission offers.  
• If applicants have not been received notification by April 6, 2026 for session 1, and April 17, 2026 for session 2, they should assume that their applications have been unsuccessful.

2. For exchange students from the Alliance of Asian Liberal Arts Universities & Partner Tertiary Institutions with exchange agreements with Lingnan University

Applications should be submitted to the Office of Global Education (OGE), Lingnan University via your home institutions. For enquiries, please contact us at [email protected].

Duly completed application forms and visa application forms should be submitted to OGE directly.
