LIngnan University's President S. Joe Qin presents a gift to President Qian Xuhong of the East China Normal University.

In order to further strengthen academic exchanges in the field of data science, Lingnan University has recently actively collaborated with three well-known universities in Mainland China. 

 

On 16 April, Prof S. Joe Qin, President and Wai Kee Kau Chair Professor of Data Science of Lingnan University, visited East China Normal University (ECNU). He met with President Qian Xuhong of ECNU and held discussions with faculty and students from the School of Data Science and Engineering, aiming to cultivate closer collaboration in the future.

On behalf of Lingnan University, Chairman Yao and President Qin meet Qiu Xin at Fudan University.

On 18 April, Mr Andrew Yao Cho-fai, Chairman of the Council of Lingnan University and Council member of Fudan University, accompanied President Qin on a visit to Fudan University. 

 

They had a meeting and exchange with Qiu Xin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Fudan University, focusing on the field of artificial intelligence. The two universities had in-depth conversations, further enhancing their relationship and collaboration.
 

President S. Joe Qin of Lingnan University and President Xue Hongwei of South China Agricultural University jointly sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

Besides, on 19 April, President S. Joe Qin of Lingnan University along with other university representatives warmly received a visiting delegation led by Prof Xue Hongwei, President of South China Agricultural University. During the visit, a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding was held. Both universities have committed to working together on research projects, student exchanges, scientific collaborations, and training programmes.
