I joined the Department of Economics at Lingnan University, Hong Kong, as a Postdoctoral Researcher in August 2026. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Lingnan University and Wuhan University, my M.Sc. in Economics and International Economics from the University of Nottingham, and my B.A. in International Economics and Trade from Wuhan University. My research interests include international trade, innovation, and urban economics.

 

My research focuses on two areas: how trade policies are determined and their effects on the economy, and the role of individuals in economic development in a globalized world. I am particularly interested in the determination of tariffs during the U.S.-China trade war and its economic impact. I also research how talent shapes China’s regional innovation and economic growth.
