HKIBS Delegation Visits Guangdong University of Technology to Advance Collaborative Research

On May 19, 2026, a delegation from HKIBS conducted an academic visit to the School of Management at Guangdong University of Technology to explore expanded research collaboration under the Lingnan University-Guangdong University of Technology Research Center for eBusiness and Logistics (LU-GDUT EBL). The visit underscored both parties’ commitment to impactful research in operations research. 

The delegation was led by Professor Liang Liping, Director of HKIBS, together with Professor Yao Jin, Centre Director of LU-GDUT EBL and Ms Karen Lau Ka Wan, Assistant Administrative Manager II of the Faculty of Business. Guangdong University of Technology was represented by Professor He Yong, Associate Dean of the School of Management, alongside faculty members from respective departments. Both parties shared respective research expertise and interests and explored joint research directions. The visit reaffirmed the foundation between the institutions and charted a clear pathway toward deeper, outcome-oriented collaboration.
