Basic Entrance Requirements:

To be eligible for admission to this Programme, an applicant should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution; (applicant holding a non-business first degree may be required to complete the preparatory course(s)); or
• equivalent qualifications and experiences, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis; and
• Copies of certificate(s)/report(s) (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS) to prove your fulfilment of the English language proficiency requirement (for applicant whose degree is not from a tertiary institution in Hong Kong or an English-speaking country).

English Language Proficiency Requirements:

An applicant whose degree, or exceptionally, an alternative qualification deemed equivalent, was not awarded by a tertiary institution where English was used as the medium of instruction (MOI) for the programme shall obtain:

• a minimum score of 79 in TOEFL Internet-Based Test¹; or
• a band score of 6.0 or above in IELTS¹; or
• a minimum score of 450 or above in College English Test Band 6 (CET-6), with proof of competency in spoken English²; or
• an equivalent score in a recognised test; or
• an equivalent qualification to prove his/her English language proficiency, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

¹  For IELTS and TOEFL qualifications for admission purposes, the University accepts only results from a single test sitting. The test must be conducted at a recognised test centre and fall within the two-year validity period, counted from the date of submission of the  admission application for the specific intake cohort.

² For CET-6 results submitted for admission purposes, the University accepts only those obtained within the five-year validity period, counted from the date of submission of the admission application for the specific intake cohort. Applicants must also demonstrate competency in spoken English through an oral interview conducted by the Programme and/or obtain grade B or above in the CET-6 Speaking English Test.

Submission of Supporting Documents:

Please upload the scanned copies of the following supporting documents to Online Application System. Applications with incomplete/ missing document will not be processed.

• Copies of identity card, passport, or any other identity document(s) of home country;
• Original valid official English test report (Submit ONE of the followings):
  • TOEFL: Internet-based: 79 or above
  • IELTS (Academic): Band 6.0 or above
  • CET6: Score of 450 or above
  • Certifying letter issued and stamped with official chop by the Registry of the university confirming the medium of instruction of your WHOLE degree programme was English. 
• Certificate of academic/ professional qualifications
  • For applicants who have completed bachelor degree studies

    • Certificates of academic/ professional qualifications (Photocopy)

      Applicants who obtained degrees from Chinese Mainland should provide the copies of Chinese version of degree certificate (學士學位证书) and graduation certificate (普通高等毕业证书); and Higher Education Degree Certificate (中国高等教育学位在线验证报告) issued by the CHESICC (學信網).

       

      Applicants from Chinese Mainland with qualifications awarded by overseas universities should provide Online Query of Overseas Credentials Evaluation Reports國(境)外學歷學位認証書 issued by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) (教育部留學服務中心) (applicable to applicants from the Chinese Mainland with qualifications awarded by overseas universities)

  • For applicants who have not completed current bachelor degree studies
    • Official copy of Certificate of Study (with University’s Registry official stamp)
• Official Transcript and Grading Scheme
  • with a complete record of courses attended, examination results, overall result and date of award issued by the Registry of institution
  • include average mark or cumulative GPA
• Confidential Recommendation Forms completed by two referees

Note:

Any false, unclear or misleading information and/or document(s) provided by applicants in their application will disqualify their applications or revoke their admission offers, and any fees paid, including down payment or deposit, will be forfeited. According to the laws of Hong Kong, forgery is a serious criminal offence that a convicted offender may be liable to imprisonment for fourteen years.
