New LU Cards for Alumni
The Office of Institutional Advancement and Public Affairs (OIAPA) has announced the launch of the LU Card for Alumni.
Details on card replacement and new applications for using Library Services with Alumni Reader / Borrower privileges and refund for deposit are as follows.
Existing Alumni Card Holders
(Date of Issue on/after 1 June 2022)
For existing Alumni card holders, if the expiry date printed on your (physical) Alumni card is 31 Dec 2022, while the Date of Issue printed on your card is on/after 1 Jun 2022, you have to activate your new LU Card for Alumni to enjoy the same Library privileges entitled in your annual membership.
This card replacement (physical to virtual) will not incur any additional cost.
Expired Alumni Card Holders
(Date of Issue before 1 June 2022)
Your Library privileges ended on 31 Dec 2022. You have to apply for a new LU Card for Alumni via myLingnan Portal to continue to use Library services. Payments must be settled via the Library’s online payment system.
Refund for Deposit
As stated in the Terms and Conditions of the Alumni Card application, all fees paid are non-refundable except the deposit of $500. If you find it no longer necessary to use the Library services, you can register for a refund by submitting the online form to the Library.
