Hands-on Learning at HKPC!

On 9 October, students from TRA 3243 Translation and AI Industries stepped out of the classroom for an insightful visit to the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) in Kowloon Tong. There, they explored the latest technological developments in AI-driven industries and gained firsthand knowledge about Hong Kong’s push for Industrialisation 4.0.

The visit included a tour of HKPC’s Future Manufacturing Hall and AI Applications Hall, where students saw how HKPC collaborates with SMEs to enhance daily lives through tech innovations.

The tour helps to deepen our students’ knowledge about the reindustrialization policies in Hong Kong and the concept of “New Quality Productive Forces”, which is aimed at driving innovations and quality growth across China.

To top it off, students learned about exciting internship opportunities at HKPC, sparking thoughts about their own future careers.
