4月8日，嶺南大學會計學系榮幸邀請到內地律師事務所主任、中國執業律師余宏先生蒞臨，主講題為「數字化背景下跨學科人才成為內地或香港律師的途徑、前景以及商事調解的機遇」的精彩講座。余律師憑藉其橫跨經濟、管理、法學、醫學的獨特跨學科背景，為師生們帶來了一場內容豐富的演說。
余律師在講座中強調了跨學科知識在數字經濟時代對法律行業的增值作用。他詳細剖析了成為內地與香港律師的不同資格路徑，包括相關的規管框架及海外律師資格考試等替代途徑。講座重點探討了商事調解領域的黃金機遇，特別是隨著內地新商事調解條例即將實施，調解將從邊緣走向爭議解決的核心。他透過案例分析及利益為本的「冰山理論」，展示了調解如何促進共贏、維護商業關係，並相較於傳統訴訟與仲裁，提供更高效、保密的解決方案。
是次講座反應熱烈，在場的學生與老師均獲益匪淺。
Hong Kong, 8 April 2026: The Department of Accountancy at Lingnan University was honoured to host Mr. Yu Hong, Managing Partner of a law firm and a practising lawyer in Mainland China, for an insightful guest lecture titled “Interdisciplinary talents in the digital era: pathways, prospects, and opportunities in commercial mediation for lawyers in Mainland China and Hong Kong.” Drawing upon his unique interdisciplinary background encompassing economics, management, law, and medicine, Mr. Yu delivered a compelling presentation to faculty members and students.
Mr. Yu highlighted the increasing value of interdisciplinary expertise in the legal profession, particularly within the digital economy. He discussed the various pathways to legal qualification in both Mainland China and Hong Kong, noting the regulatory frameworks and alternative routes such as the OLQE for overseas lawyers. A substantial portion of the lecture was dedicated to the emerging diamond-era opportunities in commercial mediation, especially in light of the upcoming implementation of new commercial mediation regulations in Mainland China. He illustrated how mediation fosters win-win outcomes, preserves business relationships, and offers efficient, confidential dispute resolution compared to traditional litigation and arbitration. Through case studies and the "iceberg model" of interest-based negotiation, Mr. Yu demonstrated the practical wisdom and strategic advantage of mediation in the Greater Bay Area.
The session was exceptionally well-received, and both the attending students and faculty members found the lecture immensely beneficial and enriching.
