Henry is a language learning specialist and IELTS teacher from Australia, Melbourne. His Master’s degree in English as an International Language and TESOL background have led him to teach several IELTS, ESP (for corporate clients such as Tencent, Shenzhen) and EAP courses across multiple company and tertiary institutions such as Wuhan University and Shenzhen University.

As a former alumni of Monash University, Australia, and an educator with over a decade of tertiary language teaching experience, Henry often takes part in contributing significantly to teacher training and development at Monash, mentoring TESOL students and professionals, and promoting reflective teaching practices.

His role at Lingnan primarily sees him teaching LUE1001 (University English I), LUE1002 (University English II) and LUE3004 (IELTS Preparation).

Having recently completed his Graduate Certificate in Educational Research (Monash University, Australia), Henry is commencing his embarkment on a PhD with a focus on investigating how students are engaging in AI mediated preparation for oral-related assessments using English as a foreign language.
