Title: A Participatory Exploration of Class Issues in Vocational Students’ Career Development

Abstract:

In vocational schools, we adopted a participatory action research(PAR) by collaborating with partners to organize several career exploration activities for students. These activities aimed to examine the challenges students encounter in their career development. Through collaborative engagement with the students, various issues related to internships, employment, and further education gradually emerged. Upon analyzing these problems, we found correlations with broader class-related issues. Together, we explored and reflected on these challenges. This presentation will share the process of conducting action research in the field, the methodologies employed, and reflections on the research journey.
