Scholarships
Entrance Scholarships
Scholarships will be considered for outstanding students on the basis of academic merit and extracurricular excellence. A range of entrance scholarships are available to support high-calibre MScSEA international students, including those from low and lower-middle income countries. Presentation of certificates or trophy will take place at the end of the academic year.
Eligibility and Criteria:
- Achieved overall GPA of 3.0 or above in Term 1, 2025-26 with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 in Term 2 2025-26
- highly participated in extracurricular activities, and
eager to contribute the community and explore career path in Hong Kong. - If there are candidates of comparable academic merits and financial status, priority shall be given to students who have outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities, community services or other non-academic areas.
Awards:
- Scholarship HKD 10,000
- A 3-month trainee contract (Participating organizations: Division of Science of Hong Kong Lingnan University and Labway Biotechnology Limited)
- Recognition certificate and trophy will also be presented
Application Method:
Complete the application form by 30 April 2026, with:
(i) latest official transcript;
(ii) personal essay or short video about your reflection on your study in the SEA programme, explaining the reason(s) for applying for the scholarship and how you put what you have learnt in the SEA programme into practice to contribute to the society; and
(iii) other supported documents (e.g. Certificates of extracurricular activities/ community activities)
Eligibility and Criteria:
- Achieved overall GPA of 3.2 or above in Term 1 2025-26 with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 in Term 2 2025-26,
- have regular attendance and highly participated throughout the whole academic year.
- Top 5 outstanding candidates will be nominated by Division of Science to compete for the Award
- If there are candidates of comparable academic merits, priority shall be given to the student who has financial needs.
Award:
- Scholarship HKD 8,000
- Recognition certificate will also be presented
Eligibility and Criteria:
- Highly participated in extracurricular activities, and
willing to contribute the community. - Top 5 outstanding candidates will be nominated by Division of Science to compete for the Award
- If there are candidates of comparable extracurricular performance, priority shall be given to the student who has financial needs.
Awards:
- Scholarship HKD 5,000
