Submission of Hourly Pay and Piecework Employee Claim Forms

As a good practice, we will review our existing workflow regularly to enhance the work efficiency.


In order to eliminate the time required for delivering paper copies, we would like to switch to an electronic route to collect the "Hourly Pay and Piecework Employee Claim Form" ("Hourly Claim Form") submitted by Departments/Offices.  A dedicated email account has been set up for this purpose:

The Hourly Pay and Piecework Employee Claim Form (FO/1011) has been updated. Please download the new form at FO’s website :


Starting from 1 April 2024, all Hourly Claim Forms shall be scanned and submitted to the FO through the aforementioned email account, while the paper copies of the Hourly Claim Forms of a financial year shall be kept by the originating Departments/Offices until 31 October each year, i.e. after the completion of annual audit.  For example, all Hourly Claim Forms submitted to the FO between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024 (both dates inclusive) should be kept up to 31 October 2024.   


We should be grateful if the Heads of Departments/Offices and/or budget controllers could take note of the above changes.  We believe that the new arrangement would provide better service to the University community.
