LU teams participated at the 5th Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions
Research Teams from Lingnan University delivered an outstanding performance at the 5th Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions Hong Kong (AEII) held on 4 and 5 Dec, 2025. Demonstrating Lingnan's rising prowess in applied research and social innovation, all nine of the participating projects received prestigious accolades, securing two gold, four silver, and three bronze medals.
This year’s success highlights Lingnan’s leadership in blending Artificial Intelligence with humanitarian innovation. The two Gold Medal-winning projects - “Smarter Traffic, Safer Roads: AIoT and Real-Time GeoAI Innovations for Urban Transport” and the “CREW: Intelligent Wheelchair Control System”, exemplify Lingnan's commitment to using technology for social impact and the advancement of caregiver support. Other award-winning inventions spanned critical sectors, including healthcare, sustainable energy, and educational technology.
