eBSCM Students Participate in "Challenge Unlimited" Leadership Training

To enhance leadership skills and team spirit, 125 eBSCM students from Lingnan University participated in the "Challenge Unlimited" experiential learning programme held at Wong Siu Sang Leadership Training Centre (WSSLTC) in Sai Kung on October 22 and 25, 2024. The event was facilitated by six professional trainers and their support team, with transportation provided for the students.

At the start of the training, students embarked on their learning journey through a series of warm-up activities and ice-breaking games. These activities not only acquainted them with the course outline and training objectives but also fostered initial team collaboration through group formation and the assignment of leaders and observers.

During the subsequent training sessions, students engaged in various challenge tasks, including goal setting, value discovery, and coalition-building. Through these activities, they learned and understood the three roles and eight functions of a leader. In the high and low challenge projects, students were required to complete at least one challenge project, experiencing personal breakthroughs and the power of team support.

At the end of the training, students shared their experiences and conducted summaries and reflections. In the final "River Crossing" challenge, they applied the knowledge they had gained to demonstrate their learning outcomes. The training concluded successfully, providing students with invaluable leadership and team collaboration experiences that laid a solid foundation for their future studies and careers.
