The Joint Humanitarian Entrepreneurship Summer Academy enhances student learning by challenging them with real-world problems while simultaneously creating a positive impact in the community by developing solutions. The program's core values will revolve around creative expression, empathy, embracing ambiguity, visualizing challenges, and synthesizing actionable ideas. Students will tackle real-world social issues in Humanitarian Technology & Inclusive Business in Peru.

Reminders
• Students need to ensure that they are eligible to take the CLC9019 Course in Term 3, 2025-2026
• All shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an in-person interview in late Feb.
• Students enrolled in the programme MUST attend the Information Session (18 Mar), all scheduled Pre-trip Training sessions (12-15 May), Overseas Programme Activities (29 May-14 Jun) and Final Presentation (29 Jun).
• OSL will cover the full programme fees, including round-trip airfare from Hong Kong to Peru, accommodation, most meals and expenses related to the programme. Visa application fees, meals at the airport and other personal expenses will not be covered.
• Students expected to pay a $5,000 programme fee & $5,000 deposit. $5,000 deposit will be fully refunded upon successful completion of the entire programme (all listed activities, submission of required documents, and the Term-end CTLE). Failure to attend any of these activities will result in the forfeiture of the $5,000 deposit
• Schemes for EDB Subsidy for local students of up to HK$5,000 (if eligible)
