This course provides an introduction to what is the blueprint of a Smart City with technology concentration on: Digital Assets, Virtual Currency, Blockchain Technology, and Data Analytics. Students will gain a basic understanding of the underlying technology concepts and their practical applications. The course explores the principles, applications, and challenges associated with digital assets, virtual currency, blockchain, and data analytics.

Course Time: 18:30 - 21:30 with 2 breaks

Enrolment: To be announced in March 2024

Commencement: To be announced in May 2024


Course Schedule

Class Duration: 2 evening classes per week with 3 hours per class

Total Duration: 4 lectures (3 hours each) with a total of 12 hours


Assessment Methods

Part A: Individual or group case study to assess understanding of Data Analytics (50%).

Completion Requirements: Final score is no less than 50 and class participation and attendance no less than 70%
